I can understand wanting passengers to pay attention to the pre-flight preparation, but do you think that someone who hasn't flown before would have the common sense to pay attention? For those of us who can recite them in our sleep, no need for it. Let me listen to Modest Mouse (and drown out the snoring idiot sitting next to me).
