My date had a gown with peach, cream and chocolate florals in it. So my tux had a cream jacket with tails, my shirt had peach-bordered ruffles, and a peach bowtie, brown tux pants, and then there were the shoes. I'm not making this up. 3.5 inch platforms, with a wood sole/heel, and the shoe part was a cream background with an orange and brown plaid over top. I have the photo to prove this, even though I promised myself I'd never willingly show it to anyone. my senior prom, South Hills High School, ’74.
